Job Description

We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic Java software engineer with at least 5 years’ experience who wants to be part of a highly talented Java team that works on the most challenging projects. By working together constructively, this team brings out the best in each other and by collaborating with customers, they constantly arrive at new and better insights.

As a Senior Java / Java EE Software Developer and Specialist you will be involved in a very unique and professional team of colleagues who can match your talent and expertise. You will often work on large projects where you will have a leading or influential role. You are able to adapt to what the project needs, this may be in the role of Senior Developer, Lead Developer, Scrum Master or Architect. As such, we are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset who is happy to be flexible and take on different responsibilities over the lifetime of the projects.

Your Profile:

• 5+ years’ experience in Java development
• You have experience in Programming, Design, Version Control, Quality Control, Testing, Development Processes, DevOps and Integration
• You have experience in areas such as backend development, front-end (web) development, databases and architecture
• Experience is in Jakarta EE, Spring (Boot), Databases (SQL and NoSQL), Docker, Micro services, Data processing, REST, Security or Messaging (JMS, Kafka, etc) is an advantage
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
