We are looking for an operator for an organization that is a major producer of substrate for the cultivation of various mushrooms, such as Shiitake and King Oyster mushroom, for the European market. This organization is located in a new factory, where you will be working with big and modern machines and the newest technologies.

Your job

In your role as Senior Operator, you will supervise operations and act as the first point of contact. You are responsible for the correct execution by your colleagues of all production, packaging and cleaning activities and you provide support where necessary. In addition, you identify and assess (process) malfunctions and deviations in installations and you perform minor maintenance tasks. Wearing special clothing is mandatory as soon as work is done in the high-care clean rooms. You take consistent care of this. Working hygienically is essential.

You also supervise and motivate the (assistant) operators and participate in daily and team meetings. The team consists of 3 to 5 persons.

Your profile  

• You have a completed secondary vocational training;
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a manager in an agro/food company;
• In possession of a forklift certificate or willing to get one;
• Master the Dutch and/or English language;
• You are flexible, think in solutions rather than problems;
• Working independently and you have a sense of responsibility;
• You fulfill an exemplary role;
• You are willing to work in 3 shifts
• You speak a high level of English.

Offer

A challenging position in a pleasant working environment, based on a full-time employment contract, you can also expect: 

• A salary between €3500 and €4500 depending on your knowledge and

experience, this includes 23,88% shift-allowance, end-of-year bonus and 8,33% holiday-allowance;
