For our client, a medium/small company that specializes in roller conveyor systems., we are looking for a Mechatronics Field Service Technician.

Your job

• You are responsible for inspecting and optimizing the transport & optimization lines;

• You analyze and investigate mechanical, electrical and software malfunctions in installations and carry out repair work;

• In the event of malfunctions to the equipment and installation, you ensure that the disruption is adequately resolved in consultation with the customer;

• (Partly) responsible for making the transport & optimization lines ready for use;

• In consultation with the customer, you carry out periodic maintenance and advise on the optimal use of the installations;

• You participate in the breakdown duty roster;

• You place parts of our lines at the customer.

Your profile

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering / mechatronics or a similar field;

• You are proactive and you have a service-oriented, flexible and positive attitude;

• You are willing to work overtime and occasional weekend work;

• You have good technical insight and are visually oriented;

• You are technically analytical;

• You have good oral communication skills in English;

• Speaking German is an advantage;

• Several years of work experience in a similar position is an advantage.

For the position of Simulation Engineer, you will play an important role in building and maintaining the engineering team's knowledge in the field of electric machines.

Your job

• You foresee the simulation in e.g. MotorCAD.

• You ensure a thorough understanding of the e-machine and strive to optimise the performance, thermal capacity, efficiency and cost of each electrified system. For this, you focus on the integration of the total system (e-machine, power electronics, transmission, battery, etc.).

• Benchmarking and constant learning on e-machine technology and market directions.

• Defining requirement specification of e-machines.

• Collaborating with suppliers to find optimal solutions.

• Providing simulations of e-machines in terms of performance, thermal aspects.

• Contribution to the development of advanced and model based control methods.

• Supporting the development phases through risk assessment, validation, issue resolution,...

• Support industrialization phase of the project with core knowledge on e- machines.

Your job As an Electronic Test Engineer, you would be responsible for the testing of electronic circuits within the framework of satellite equipment, starting from the board level test (including FPGA and BIOS/BSW code) and up to unit level test (where complete integrated equipment will be tested). On top of the electronic tests at ambient temperature and pressure, you would also assist during the environmental acceptance campaign of the equipment and you would have to make sure that the boards/equipment adheres to its specifications under all circumstances. You would also participate in the equipment-level functional and performance test campaigns and would document test results.

Your profile The ideal candidate would be a multidisciplinary, pro-active, creative, enthusiastic, and result-oriented team player and should have:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or similar by experience.
