What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Primary High-Voltage Mechanical Fitter, you’ll work on-site at high-voltage locations (110/220 kV and 380 kV), where you’ll handle the mechanical installation of critical power distribution components. You'll work both indoors and outdoors, always with strict attention to safety.

Offer:
You will be paid on a weekly basis. Your salary is based on your experience. We can offer candidates a net salary starting from € 2700,- per month up to €3600,- per month based on a 40-hour workweek and your level of experience. In some cases, extra hours can be worked, and the salary will be higher. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee overtime. Health insurance and accommodation are included. Payment is based on the following components:
- Cost of Living allowance
- Travel expenses from home country to the Netherlands
- Travel expenses up to 27 kilometers from accommodation to project per day*
- Payment for extra-statutory holidays
- Holiday pay
- Health insurance
- Deduction of housing
*Additional kilometers are reimbursed at €0.21 per kilometer, both for the driver and passengers.
Important: In addition to your salary, you also accrue vacation hours.
Rotations & Vacation Hours:
You will work in rotations. After working for 10 weeks, it is common to take 1 to 2 weeks of vacation. It is important to know that, in addition to your agreed net salary, you also accrue vacation hours each week. For example, if you work for 10 weeks, you will have accrued approximately 30 hours of vacation time. You can use these hours to take a vacation or rotation.
Accommodation:
We arrange accommodation for our colleagues. Currently, the average distance between the accommodation and the project site is 30 kilometers. The accommodation is shared with several people, but everyone always has their own bedroom.
In addition to their weekly net salary, each skilled worker also receives a travel allowance from their accommodation to the project and back. The first 27 km per day is already included in the net salary. All extra kilometers are reimbursed at a rate of € 0.21 per kilometer. The total weekly salary can therefore be increased by € 1.00 - € 50.00 extra per week.
Car Lease:
Our client will provide you with the option to lease a car: a Mitsubishi SpaceStar (2024), Seat MII (2021) or Hyundai 2025. And for a reduced rate, you can drive to work every day without any worries! You will pay around €65.00 to €70.00 per week and this amount will be deducted from your salary weekly. Just let us know if you are interested and we’ll arrange for you to sign your lease agreement. And then you’ll receive your car keys and fuel or charging card.
Requirements:
- You must have a valid driver’s license.
- You are required to take 1 to 3 passengers to the project.
- Travel costs from accommodation to the project will be canceled.
Tip: Ask colleagues for a small contribution if they carpool—drive cheaper!
Health insurance:
Our client provides health insurance. If medical assistance is needed in the Netherlands, it is readily available.
BSN & Certifications:
If you want to work in the Netherlands, you need to have a BSN (Citizen Service Number), and you’ll require certain certifications. Our client will make an appointment with the municipality to obtain a BSN. For VCA or Sky platform (IPAF), an exam needs to be taken. Our client will provide study materials to help you prepare and will cover the cost of the first exam. It is very achievable to pass the exam if you are an experienced electrician and have studied. Any subsequent attempts will need to be paid for by the individual.
