Urban Road Transport
Maintain electric and hybrid vehicles used in daily city operations. You’ll work from a centrally located workshop and respond to on-site issues when necessary.
Rail Vehicles
Work on modern rail vehicles in a highly technical and safety-regulated environment. This includes complex systems like drive technology, braking systems, sensors, and safety equipment.
Waterborne Transport
Maintain modern ferries or passenger boats with both traditional and electric propulsion. You’ll handle propulsion, steering, and onboard electrical systems.
Your job
As a maintenance engineer, you’ll independently carry out technical work on public transport vehicles, including:
- Performing scheduled maintenance based on established protocols
- Repairing components or systems that frequently malfunction
- Diagnosing issues reported on-site or in the workshop
- Making autonomous decisions within technical guidelines
Your profile
- You currently work as a car mechanic, electrician, or service technician and are ready for your next career step

- You have an MBO level 3 diploma (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
- A few years of experience in technical maintenance or vehicle engineering
- A valid B-class driver’s license (C-class is a plus — training can be provided)
- You’re independent, solution-oriented, and quality-driven
- You have a good command of English

- Monthly gross salary between €2,450 and €3,550 (based on a 36-hour week), depending on experience
