Your Role

For one of the production sites in the Netherlands, our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with both mechanical and electrical expertise. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving automated production systems and utilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

You will also participate in a periodic on-call service (approximately once every four weeks).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair production installations and technical systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Report findings and propose improvement initiatives
• Support production start-ups and modifications
• Maintain technical documentation and drawings
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and HACCP standards
• Guide external service technicians
• Register all activities in the maintenance management system

Requirements

• Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering (mechanical experience is a plus)
• Proven experience in a technical maintenance role (food industry preferred)
• Ability to read and analyse electrical schematics
• TIG welding experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum B2 level English
