Our client is a high-tech Tier 1 manufacturer specialising in the series production of high-precision metal components for demanding industries such as medical technology, semicon, optics, and measuring & control systems. The company operates a modern, largely automated machine park and is known for its excellent quality standards and delivery reliability.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced CNC Swiss Turn Programmer to strengthen their production team.
Your responsibilities:
As a CNC Swiss Turn Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimising high-precision sliding head lathes. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
Your tasks include:
- Assessing the manufacturability of parts together with Manufacturing Engineering
- Determining machining strategies and selecting the correct tools
- Programming CNC Swiss-type lathes directly at the machine (Citizen M32, M20, L32, L20, B12 with Mitsubishi control) and/or using SolidCAM
- Setting up and adjusting machines
- Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure quality standards
- Contributing ideas to improve process efficiency and product quality
- Working in a 2-shift schedule:
- Shift 1: 05:30 – 14:00
- Shift 2: 14:00 – 23:00 (Fridays until 20:15)
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience with CNC turning and reading CNC programs (ISO G/M codes)
- Ability to read technical drawings, tolerances, and the ISO fit system
- Experience programming CNC machines (Mitsubishi control is a strong advantage)
- Familiarity with measuring tools and machining operations such as drilling, threading, milling, roughing, and finishing
- A proactive mindset and motivation to further develop your technical skills
- Minimum English level: B2 (Dutch is not required)
What our client offers:
- Net monthly salary between €2,700 and €3,700, depending on experience and shift pattern
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
