Are you a specialist in energy supply who always keeps the big picture in mind, even under high voltage? In this role, you ensure that infrastructure dependent on electrical energy operates safely and reliably 24/7. From overhead line faults to replacing heavy equipment—you are the key player in the energy network of our transportation systems.
Your job
As a senior electrician, you work on critical infrastructure involving medium- and low-voltage installations. You perform planned and corrective maintenance on power supply systems for rail vehicles or other mobile systems. Your varied and technically challenging tasks include:
- Maintenance and inspection of overhead line systems and/or third rails.
- Replacing components within rectifier stations and distribution installations, collaborating with contractors and construction partners.
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting through measurements, switching operations, and control procedures.
- Participating in infrastructure projects such as voltage upgrades or capacity expansions.
- Preparing and executing switching plans and ensuring proper documentation.
- Working in rotating shifts, including night shifts, according to a fixed schedule.
Your profile
- Completed MBO-4 (mid-level vocational) education in electrical engineering or energy technology.
- Proven work experience in maintenance of complex electrical installations, preferably within infrastructure or rail technology.
- Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., NEN 3140/3840) and experience with reporting and measurement methods.
- Solution-oriented, precise, and able to perform well under pressure.
- European driving license B and willingness to work at heights and in rotating shifts.
- Proficiency in English.

- Monthly salary ranging from €3,070 to €4,310 gross (based on 36 hours), depending on experience and qualifications.
