This job is in the Netherlands

As a production engineer you are responsible for an effective and efficient design of the production process or for making changes to it. You are also responsible for the technical set- up and safeguarding of the production, assembly and/or manufacturing process. In consultation with test engineers you devise a solution/improvement for technical bottlenecks. Furthermore, the implementation of improvement projects and procedures and the active maintenance of customer and supplier contacts are part of your responsibilities. In addition to dealing with existing processes, you will also delve into new production processes and their feasibility. You communicate in a multidisciplinary way and are able to get to the heart of a problem and solve it jointly or independently.

Your profile

• Degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering / technical business administration;
• At least 2 years of experience;
• Experience with FMEA, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma;
• Analytical and possessing problem-solving skills;
• Experience in breaking down production processes and implementing improvements;
• Good English communication skills.

The salary starts at € 3.200,- and goes up to € 4.600,- gross per month (40 hours working week) depending on your experience and education.
