Job Description

This job is in the Netherlands

Full-time | 2-shift system

We are looking for a CNC Miller who wants to work at the highest level of precision within a stable and ambitious international high-tech organization with locations in Europe and Asia, and a turnover of more than 100 million euros annually.

The location in the Netherlands, you will be working at has approximately 100 employees working together in a flat organization with short communication lines and strong involvement on the work floor.

The organization supports professional OEM customers in managing the full product life cycle and focuses on long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency and performance.

This is not standard machining. It is precision engineering at micron level for leading OEM customers in the global high-tech industry.

Typical characteristics of production:

  • 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling
  • Titanium and high-grade steel machining
  • Extremely tight tolerances (down to 1–2 microns)
  • Long machining cycles (200–300 hours per part)
  • Large material removal (e.g. 250–300 kg titanium blocks reduced to 30 kg finished parts)
  • Dedicated CAM department for programming
  • Separate quality department and measurement rooms

Your responsibilities:

As a CNC Miller you are responsible for machining complex, high-precision components. The focus is on setup, execution and process control.

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling machines
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings with tight tolerances
  • Preparing tooling and complex clamping constructions
  • Monitoring long machining cycles
  • Performing interim measurements and quality checks
  • Ensuring strict adherence to validated work instructions
  • Thinking along in improvements within formal procedures
  • Programming is handled by the CAM department, allowing you to focus on precision execution and process stability.

This role is ideal for machinists who:

  • Prefer complex high-end parts over mass production
  • Enjoy working with titanium and advanced materials
  • Work structured and disciplined
  • Take responsibility for micron-level accuracy
  • Want to grow within a high-tech environment

The work requires patience, technical insight and a strong sense of quality awareness.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience with CNC turning and reading CNC programs (ISO G/M codes)
  • A proactive mindset and motivation to further develop your technical skills
  • Minimum English level: B2 (Dutch is not required)

Offer:

  • Gross monthly salary between €3.450 – €4.945 inc. 15% Shift allowance depending on experience
  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • 25 vacation days per year
  • Excellent opportunities for training, development, and internal growth
  • A modern working environment with advanced CNC technology

The position works in a 2-shift system:

  • One week you have the day shift (Monday–Friday)
  • The other week you’ll have the afternoon shift (Monday–Thursday, Friday off)

You receive a 15% shift allowance on all worked hours.

Exact salary depends on experience, independence level and 5-axis expertise.
