We're looking for an experienced Wire EDM Technician to join a modern high-tech manufacturing environment where you'll produce complex precision parts for industries such as semiconductor equipment, aerospace, medical technology and optics. The work is varied, challenging and primarily focused on small production runs and one-off components.

What you'll do:

As a Wire EDM Technician you produce complex parts within the mechanical workshop, working with Agie Charmilles wire EDM machines. Most production consists of small series or single pieces, so there is a lot of variety in your work.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Sharing responsibility for the entire production process
  • Contributing to machining strategies and tooling choices
  • Choosing suitable clamping methods

What we're looking for:

You have:

  • A completed technical education
  • Knowledge of machining techniques and machines
  • Familiarity with common material types
  • Ability to read technical drawings and independently manufacture and inspect products according to form and position tolerances
  • A cost-conscious, flexible and positive mindset
  • A team player who works precisely and with focus
  • Good command of English

The work environment

The company is a leading supplier with around 200 colleagues, producing high-precision mechanical parts and assemblies for international customers in the semiconductor (including ASML), optical, equipment manufacturing and aerospace industries. All machining techniques are in-house, from milling, turning and grinding to EDM, micro-laser processing and cleanroom activities.

Employment package:

Annual salary: €43,300 – €54,100 gross

  • 25 paid holidays
  • 8.33% holiday allowance
  • ADV allowance of almost 5% on top of your base salary
  • Travel reimbursement
  • International relocation support
  • Assistance with housing
  • Help obtaining a BSN number
  • Support arranging Dutch health insurance
  • Basic Dutch language course

Why you'll enjoy this role:

If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working on highly accurate components and being part of a team that manufactures products for some of the world's most advanced industries, this role offers plenty of variety and responsibility.
