Mechatronics Field Service Technician This job is in the Netherlands

For our client, a medium/small company that specializes in roller conveyor systems., we are looking for a Mechatronics Field Service Technician.

Your job

• You are responsible for inspecting and optimizing the transport & optimization lines;

• You analyze and investigate mechanical, electrical and software malfunctions in installations and carry out repair work;

• In the event of malfunctions to the equipment and installation, you ensure that the disruption is adequately resolved in consultation with the customer;

• (Partly) responsible for making the transport & optimization lines ready for use;

• In consultation with the customer, you carry out periodic maintenance and advise on the optimal use of the installations;

• You participate in the breakdown duty roster;

• You place parts of our lines at the customer.

Your profile

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering / mechatronics or a similar field;

• You are proactive and you have a service-oriented, flexible and positive attitude;

• You are willing to work overtime and occasional weekend work;

• You have good technical insight and are visually oriented;

• You are technically analytical;

• You have good oral communication skills in English;

• Speaking German is an advantage;

• Several years of work experience in a similar position is an advantage.

Our client manufactures and processes parts for aircraft engines using modern milling and 5- axis grinding. The 140 employees are responsible for their own production and quality control. The program used to set the machines is Okama and Siemens.

What are you going to do? You manufacture and edit high-quality turbine parts using CNC-controlled machines. You study the technical drawings, work instructions and programs. You tension products and monitor the processing process. In the meantime you carry out quality checks and you are able to use different measuring tools.

For this position we are looking for someone to operate one or more CNC machines. The operator is an all-round employee who controls all activities and also solves problems such as minor disruptions. But if you are interested in a more coordinating role, in which you ensure that machines within a cell continue to run as efficiently as possible, then our client would also like to talk to you! You must be willing to work in 3 shifts.

Your profile

• You are in possession of a completed technical degree.

• You have experience/affinity with CNC-controlled machines and measuring techniques within the metal industry.

• You have experience in the field of CNC.

• You are result-oriented, a team player, quality-conscious, accurate and independent.

• Full time availability and willing to work in shifts. Currently working in 3 shifts, but we ask willingness to work in 3 shifts (full time)

• You have good English communication skills.

Assembly Specialist As an assembly specialist, you independently assemble new modules into semifinished products or entire production lines for the high-tech industry. You use specialized tools to guarantee the accuracy of the construction. In addition, you work from technical drawings and work instructions. If assembly problems or component shortages occur, you report back to the production manager and/or the engineering department. You will be stationed in a high-tech cleanroom environment, where quality is more important than quantity.

Your profile

• Completed technical education in mechatronics, mechanics or mechanical engineering;

• At least 2 years hands-on work, experience in mechanical engineering is preferred; • You are passionate about technology and you are willing to work in a high tech

environment with challenging technical projects; • Good English communication skills; • Problem-solving ability; • You can describe yourself as a true team player; • You are proactive and flexible; • You are willing to work extra hours if necessary.

Contract / conditions If you are successful in the application process, our client will invest in your personal development. This is not a position just for 1 or 2 years, it is a position for a longer time. The salary starts at € 2.400,- and goes up to € 3.400,- gross per month (40 hours working week) depending on your experience and education.
